Salvadorean Liga MB round 21 best performance: Adonis Lopez (by Hoops Agents)

Dominican Rep. Forward Adonis Lopez (F-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Santa Tecla, receiving a Hoops Agents Liga MB Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (36 points, nine rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to crush Metapan (#6, 7-8) with 20-point margin 90-70. Santa Tecla maintains the 2nd position in Salvadorean Liga MB. Santa Tecla has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 14-1. In the team's last game Lopez had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Santa Tecla and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Adonis Lopez averages just after two games 29.5ppg and 11.5rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Marc Montavious (206-C-1990) of Quezaltepeque. Montavious had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Third on the list of top players last round was another Quezaltepeque's star - Douglas Baires (1988). Baires scored 14 points and passed five assists. He was another key player of Quezaltepeque, helping his team with a 88-46 easy win against the lower-ranked Santiagueno (#9, 4-11). Quezaltepeque needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 8 lost games. Baires has a very solid season.
